  • Funds transfer shall be effected only when the destination bank/branch is participating in RTGS.
  • It is the responsibility of the RTGS customer to ensure sufficient clear funds in their account to carry out the payment instructions, including service charges. Once the account is debited, the remitter cannot revoke the given mandate, and no stop payment instruction will be entertained by the bank.
  • The application form must be received before the cut-off time. If received after the cut-off time or if there is a holiday at the recipient's branch, the transfer of funds shall be effected on the next working day.
  • The RTGS customer must ensure the correctness of the message, especially the IFSC code and account number of the beneficiary. The collecting and receiving banks will get a valid discharge if the amount is credited to the correct account number, even if the beneficiary's name differs.   • The RTGS customer is responsible for the genuineness of transactions and must ensure that no illegal or money laundering activities are conducted. Karur Vysya Bank Limited will not be liable for such transactions.
  • Karur Vysya Bank Limited shall not be liable for delays or non-payments due to incorrect beneficiary details provided by the remitter, system malfunctions, natural calamities, strikes, internet issues, or other disruptions beyond the bank's control. Such transactions will be settled on the next working day.
  • In case of non-settlement due to customer error, Karur Vysya Bank Limited may attempt to notify the customer but is not obligated to do so and shall not be liable for any consequences.
  • The RTGS customer irrevocably authorizes Karur Vysya Bank Limited to debit their account with the prevailing service charges.
  • This agreement is subject to RBI rules, terms, and administrative guidelines that may be enforced from time to time.
