Such transactions will be settled on the next working day.
  • In case of non-settlement due to customer error, Karur Vysya Bank Limited may attempt to notify the customer but is not obligated to do so and shall not be liable for any consequences.

How does Karur Vysya Bank RTGS fund transfer work?

RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) at Karur Vysya Bank is a real-time, gross settlement system for high-value transactions above ₹2 lakh. Each transaction is settled individually and immediately — unlike NEFT which uses batch processing. RTGS operates 24x7, 365 days a year. What is the minimum and maximum RTGS limit at Karur Vysya Bank?

The minimum RTGS transfer amount at Karur Vysya Bank is ₹2,00,000 (₹2 lakh) as mandated by RBI. There is no maximum limit for RTGS transactions, though your account's per-day limit may apply. Amounts below ₹2 lakh are automatically processed via NEFT. AutoAOF detects this automatically and switches the form type.
